General Accommodation Information

The Sheraton Kauai Resort's 413 rooms, including the 14 suites, are housed in four-story buildings. Grouped together in three different locations in the 20-acre resort, the room categories are identified according to the primary view, in the following buildings: Garden Wing, Ocean Wing and Beach Wing. The resort's major facilities are all wheelchair accessible and a total of 12 ADA approved rooms are available. More than half of the rooms in the resort are capable of connecting . The Ocean Wing rooms share a common entry with one other room, making them ideal for either families or friends traveling together. Bedding choices are either king or (two) double beds. A majority of Ocean rooms have a loveseat that opens into a hide-a-bed. Children (18 and younger) stay free in their parents room utilizing existing bedding. Cribs are complimentary. There is an additional charge for rollaway beds for adults 19 and over. Rooms are smoke-free, although smoking is allowed on lanais (balconies). A $45 million construction and renovation project, completed in late 1997, created a new Sheraton Kauai with the majority of the resorts facilities brand new and blending with its premier beachfront location. With no building taller than a mature coconut tree and the plethora of tropical foliage providing a never-ending play of color, light, fragrance and sense of seclusion, the resort is an island in itself. The full compliment of guest services and facilities include two swimming pools, massage and fitness center, tennis courts, a childrens center, a host of beach activities plus equipment rental and instruction if you choose, a choice of championship golf courses, shops both in the hotel and the nearby Po'ipu Shopping Village to name a few.
